My name is Wanda Ferragamo, and I am the owner of the Viesca Estate. A place which is very special and close to my heart.

It is my pleasure to outline below some details about Viesca.

Located in the heart of Tuscany, in the beautiful Chianti region , Viesca is a place of peace and serenity, with view on a stunning landscape, only 20 minutes by car from the historic city of Florence.

I very much enjoyed designing all the interiors myself, for all the houses on the property, and choosing many wonderful and exclusive Ferragamo printed silks for the soft furnishings.

It gives me great pleasure to share the beauty of this place with visitors from all over the world, who appreciate the historical setting, the traditions of Tuscany, the good food and warm hospitality of the region.

The principal manor house was built in the Fourteenth Century, as were the other surrounding companion houses on the estate.

The breathtaking countryside of this particular part of Tuscany has been immortalised in many paintings and frescos of the period, by notable painters of the early Renaissance, including Masaccio, Duccio, and Giovanni di San Giovanni, all who lived in the area, and whose wonderful works can be seen in many churches and museums nearby.

In the estate, there are walking paths, private swimming pools, all surrounded by lovely parkland.

Gardeners’ service at home is available at all times.

The beautiful historical cities of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Rome, as well as Venice can be easy reached for a day trip.
